One Day

A Tale of Hope and Connection

There was a day that I will never forget. On that day, I felt incredibly sad. It all happened because I started to reminisce about someone very special to me.
Even though I had only talked to that person for just two days, it felt like we had a strong connection.

Back then, I was all smiles, living in a world filled with happiness. But then, life threw a curveball, and I had to cut them off because of a huge problem.
It was a rough time, and my tears flowed like a river. It felt like all the happiness and life had been sucked right out of me.

One day, while scrolling through social media, I stumbled upon a video that turned my world around.
It had a simple yet profound message that hit me hard:

‘I asked Allah if someone wants something, will they get it? God replied, ‘There they will have whatever they desire, and with Us is even more’ (Quran 50:35).’

From that day forward, I began to pray for that person every single day. They’re the last thought on my mind when night falls.
This person became the reason for my happiness and sadness. They are the only reason I feel alive.
